Honest Companion is an AI companion website that helps adults reflect, receive direct feedback, argue safely, and repair after conflict. By using the service, you agree to use it responsibly and only if you are 18 years of age or older.
The service provides AI-generated responses. Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, or emotionally imperfect. You are responsible for your own decisions and for how you use the content generated by the service.
AI Disclosure
You are chatting with AI, not a real person. Honest Companion is designed to be emotionally direct, supportive, and sometimes challenging, but it does not have human judgment, lived experience, or professional credentials.
Not Therapy, Medical Advice, or Crisis Support
Honest Companion is not therapy, medical advice, crisis support, or a substitute for professional care. It does not diagnose, treat, or prevent any medical or mental health condition.
If you might hurt yourself or someone else, contact local emergency services or a crisis line immediately. If you are in the United States or Canada, call or text 988. If you are elsewhere, contact your local emergency number or crisis support service.
Privacy Policy
We collect the information needed to provide and improve the service, including your email address when you sign in with Google, session information, plan status, chat conversations, selected companion settings, usage events, feedback, and user-confirmed memory items for Pro accounts.
We use this data to operate AI chat, save conversation history, enforce Free and Pro usage limits, provide lightweight long-term memory for Pro users, process payments, prevent abuse, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
We use third-party providers to operate the service: Google for sign-in, Neon/Postgres for database storage, OpenAI-compatible LLM providers for AI responses, and Creem for checkout, subscription management, and payment-related records. Payment card details are handled by Creem and are not stored by Honest Companion.
You can request data export or clear saved data from the Account page. To request account deletion or privacy support, contact support@aimate4u.art from the email associated with your account.
Refund and Cancellation Policy
Honest Companion Pro is offered as a monthly subscription for $7.99/month. Pro includes higher message limits, full conversation history, lightweight long-term memory, and stronger companion consistency.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. After cancellation, Pro access remains available until the end of the current paid billing period unless otherwise required by law or payment-provider rules.
Refund requests are reviewed case by case. We generally consider refunds for duplicate charges, payment errors, or technical issues that prevent access to paid features. To request help with billing, contact support@aimate4u.art.
Acceptable Use
Do not use Honest Companion to generate threats, harassment, instructions for harm, illegal content, or content that violates the rights of others. We may limit, suspend, or terminate access if the service is abused or if continued use creates safety or operational risk.
